Mrs. Olubunmi Popoola-Mordi
Bunmi is a law graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile–Ife , a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She also has a masters degree in Corporate Law, an MBA in Oil and Gas Management and an LL.M in Petroleum Law and Policy.
Bunmi has over 25 years diverse working knowledge and experience harnessed across several professional sectors. Her careerhas cut across legal practice, banking, financial services, Company Secretarial Practice, business development and Corporate Governance Practice.
Bunmi joined Total Nigeria Plc in 2011 as Legal Affairs Manager and Company Secretary. In 2015, she was appointed General ManagerHuman Resources and Corporate Services (responsible for Human Resources, Legal, CSR, Corporate Communication, Insurance, Investor Relations and the Archives whilst still retaining the role of the Company Secretary).
In 2019 Bunmi was appointed Executive General Manager Total Country Services, an entity providing services to the marketing/distribution, exploration and production Total Companies in Nigeria. She supports the teams in partnering with the business towards attainment of corporate and social goals.
As Company Secretary of Total’s downstream company in Nigeria she is responsible for the Company’s’ investor relations and Board related-matters whilst acting as a strong interface between the Company, her corporate regulators, shareholders and other stakeholders.
Bunmi is a foodie with her taste buds ranging from luxurious fine dining to locally prepared street food (aka “Buka”).
