TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc Hosts 46th AGM

TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc. celebrated its 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) with a cocktail reception on June 13, 2024, at EbonyLife Place, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was a convergence of the company's shareholders, key stakeholders, and esteemed figures from various industries, providing a splendid atmosphere for networking over exquisite finger foods and drinks. 

The AGM convened the next day at the Civic Center in Lagos, where Chairman Mr. Jean-Philippe Torres, alongside the management team, shareholders, Audit Committee members, employees, and other stakeholders, gathered to discuss the company's trajectory. The session opened with Company Secretary Mr. Mark Mannok presenting the agenda, including the ordinary business of the company. 

Subsequently, Mr. Torres reviewed TotalEnergies' performance for the year 2023, acknowledging the tough market conditions yet highlighting the company's dedication to delivering shareholder value. This was followed by a lively exchange with shareholders, who voiced their perspectives. The Chairman addressed these points effectively, particularly the call for immediate dividend distribution post-AGM, leading to the approval of a N25 per share dividend. 

Additionally, the Statutory Audit Committee's report and the financial statement audit, as presented by Mr. Cyril Azobu of PricewaterhouseCoopers, were met with approval from the shareholders.  

The 46th AGM ended with the Board of Directors and the Management team of TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc. reaffirming the company’s unwavering dedication to delivering premium services to shareholders, customers, and all stakeholders.
