David Adegboyega is a 2002 graduate of Civil Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. However, his passion for character transformation in young people in particular, and the society at large, made him venture into communications where he now has over 20 years experience spanning marketing & corporate communications, training, customer acquisition, product development, retail products management and corporate responsibility & sustainability in banking.
   
His passion for sound character development led him to publish the following books: ‘Sound Character: Maxim for a Successful Future’ (students’ version), ‘Sound Character Decisions…a parent-child interaction tool’ (parents’ version) and a 31-day calendar version. He has a yet-to-be publish book titled: ‘Be the Change/Zama Canji which comprises character nuggets in English and Hausa languages with fitting cartoon illustrations. It is targeted at the Northern part of the country to dissuade young people from being lured into banditry and terrorism. Working on the sound character books brought him to Lagos and got him his first two jobs before he recently resigned to focus on this passion of character excellence in the society. His published works are useful for young people in imbibing sound character, and for parents in instilling character excellence in their children and wards. The books are approved by the Lagos Ministry of Education for use in primary, junior and senior secondary schools.

David is a Sound Character Coach and Nation Builder. His published works has over 40,000 copies printed and distributed. About 17,000 copies of the students’ version were branded by the financial institution where he worked which were used for corporate social responsibility engagements with Teenagers and Youths. 10,000 copies of the book were also sponsored by wife of a past Governor of Ogun State. 

He believes that, through the grace of God, the Sound Character ideas will raise a critical mass of Nigerians who would imbibe the right value system so that corruption will not be an option for them. He sees a Nation where dignity of labour takes its pride of place, and where people work hard to unleash the potentials hidden in them.

David is happily married to Olawale and together, they are raising two world changers – Oluwapelumi and Oluwapemi.
