2018 KOKO SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION

Education and capacity building is one of the four pillars of Total’s Corporate Social Responsibility. ​In line with this, a Secondary School Scholarship scheme was instituted in 2012 in favour of indigenes of the Koko community, Delta State Nigeria.  Till date, the scheme has graduated the first batch of beneficiaries from Junior Secondary School-1 through to Senior Secondary School -3; This latest addition of six (6) beneficiaries to the scheme brings the current total number of beneficiaries to  40.

The 2018 Koko Scholarship examination held at the Iwere College Hall in Koko Delta State on Friday 20th July, 2018.  A total of 61 students participated in the examination from seven Schools across Koko and its environs.  The examination which was  transparently conducted, scored and results immediately announced, was held under the watchful  eyes of the Education committee of the Koko Community Management Authority, the State  School Education Board Representative as well as some Teachers and Youth Corps members from the Koko community.
