The TotalEnergies Card which is an electronic purse designed to meet customers’ needs in payment for PMS, AGO, DPK, LPG, and other products and services at designated Total Service Stations nationwide. It is a new generation intelligent electronic chip card operated on dedicated point of sale terminals installed at selected TotalEnergies Service Stations and networked to TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc’s Head Office where card administration is managed. Also, as a fleet management tool it allows for easy monitoring and control of fuel budget(s) from a central point irrespective of the location of customers’ fleets nationwide.
TotalEnergies Card, Nigeria’s first electronic fuel card, was first introduced to the Nigerian market as Top Card in 2002. Its name was subsequently changed to Total Card and re-introduced to the market in April 2006 as Nigeria’s premier customer Loyalty Fuel Card. This re-branding and enhancement of the Top Card was driven by the positive reviews and enthusiasm for the card from TotalEnergies's numerous customers.
